1) “The Next 3 Days”–film–2 hours & 13 minutes–a man’s wife is tried and convicted for murder and he knows she is innocent and becomes obsessed with breaking her out of prison–I am a huge Russell Crowe fan and he does an excellent job here–surprisingly, another favorite actor of mine, Liam Neeson does a cameo that is perfect–A GOOD THRILLER!
2) “Malcolm & Marie”–film–1 hour & 35 minutes–husband and wife coming home after debut of film he has written and directed–John David Washington excellent and Zendaya, who I am not familiar with, didn’t impress me in a role that is very whiny–a lot of noise that DOESN’T ADD UP TO ANYTHING!
3) “Firefly Lane”–series–season 1–10 episodes–8 hours & 18 minutes–a look at a friendship between 2 completely different girls/women over 30 plus years–we meet young Tully (Ali Skorbye) and young Kate (Roan Curtis) and older Tully (Katherine Heigl) and Kate (Sarah Chalke) going back and forth with their good and bad experiences–a lot of melodrama–full disclosure–I have never liked Heigl and don’t understand how she keeps on getting jobs–that plus her character here is so off-putting that if there is a second season I WON’T WATCH IT!
